Our strong effort to create awareness about animal welfare by using all available opportunities such as public and private Medias and by using the car advertisement through the megaphone and tape recorder fixed on the car and distribution of informative leaflets, In addition the practical activity of spay neuter and vaccination program made in the established shelter and clinic to show the importance in terms of homeless dogs population and disease control which was broadcasted by TV , Radio programs and different news papers informed millions of people and has brought a remarkable change towards the attitude of the community and government. By the time we participated on the meeting of the NGO’s to discuss and comment on the draft proclamation of Charities and Societies in Ethiopia the advancement of animal welfare activity is mentioned on the third among the fifteen sections of activities that NGO’s get involved in the country. Therefore we are proud that our work for the Ethiopian poor animals through different obstacles got attention and get included in the proclamation.
